Publication Process

  1. Step-1: Manuscript Preparation

    Below are the guidelines for authors/contributors who wish to submit their work to The ELTVibes: International Journal:

      • Research papers or articles submitted for consideration must be original and not previously published in any form.
      • Submissions should not exceed 15,000 words, including notes, references, and tables.
      • Each submission must be accompanied by an abstract of 100–150 words.
      • Manuscripts should be prepared in MS Word 97–2000 format, using British English. The document should be formatted on A4 size paper, with 1.5 line spacing, justified text, and a font size of 12.
      • Graphs and charts must be created using MS Office software (i.e., Word, Excel).
      • PDF versions are not accepted for submission.
      • Contributions must be submitted via email only to: vibespublication@gmail.com
    The article should include:
    • The name(s) of the author(s)
    • A short 5-line bio note
    • Their professional affiliations
    • Email address
    • All articles submitted will be subject to peer review by the journal's refereeing system
    • The content must be original, free from plagiarism, and not libelous or defamatory in any way
    • If previously published quotes, images, or figures are used, written permission from the copyright holder must be provided
    • Copyright of all published materials (including print, electronic, and other formats) will be held by The ELT Vibes
    • Contributors must sign a copyright declaration form upon acceptance

    Contributors must ensure that their submissions do not violate any provisions of the Copyright Act or related regulations regarding source material. The journal is not responsible for any such violations.

  3. Step 3: Review and Processing Time
    • Once submitted, all manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process conducted by two independent reviewers, typically completed within 30–40 days.
    • If the manuscript is accepted with revisions, authors are required to address all suggestions and comments provided by the reviewers.
    • As a peer-reviewed international e-journal, the identities of both authors and reviewers remain strictly anonymous throughout the review process.
    • The Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to make necessary editorial changes to maintain the quality and integrity of the publication.
  4. Step-4: After Acceptance
      • Authors are required to pay a publication fee of ₹500 (for Indian nationals) or $10 (for international authors).
      • The corresponding author must sign the copyright form and submit it along with the final manuscript.
      • After publication, the corresponding author will receive an email with the publication details.

Book Reviews

The ELT Vibes publishes concise write-ups on select new publications of professional interest, as well as curated book reviews. The journal also welcomes book review submissionsfrom authors for publication. For more information, authors can contact the editor at vibespublication@gmail.com

Review and Processing Time

The manuscript is initially reviewed by two reviewers to determine if it fits the journal’s aim and scope, a process that takes at least 30-40 days. If the manuscript is accepted with revisions, the researcher must address all points suggested by the reviewers as necessary. As ELT Vibes is a peer-reviewed international e-journal for research in ELT, the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept anonymous. The editor-in-chief reserves the right to make any necessary changes during the review process.
